A Brief History of a Premier Melbourne Pool Service

Valkyrie Pool Service is a growing company owned and operated by your Brevard County first responders. Over the years we have served the Brevard Community from First Responder duties to local charities. At Valkyrie Pool Service we believe that giving back to the community will not only help nourish our growing company but will also help to build a stronger community.

​With prices on the rise, we strive to do right by our customers and maintain a steady low cost, high-quality service. Throughout the years we have watched as companies raised prices dramatically time and time again to increase profit margins at the expense of the community. As an intricate part of the community, we believe that having a strong bond with local residents is the best way to flourish. In order to build this trust, we take part in helping local charities and support local first responders by giving them priority in our hiring process and quarterly donations. 

​Our technicians go through a thorough and rigorous training program before being allowed to service pools without an onsite supervisor. All pools technicians are required to have a minimum of 2 years' experience in this industry or an AA Degree to ensure they understand the basics of chemistry. Once hired every technician undergoes a three-to-six-month training program. This program consists of riding with a supervisor 5 days a week on a full route where they will be taught all aspects of the Pool Industry. During this training process all technicians will be taught the proper ways to care for a pool, the chemistry, how each chemical reacts on a molecular level, and all aspects of pool repair. Our Repair technicians are held to an even higher standard than our pool technicians. All repair technicians are required to complete the previous requirements while also attending a third-party education program paid for by VPS and complete a three-month training program with our lead repair technician.

By promoting from within our company we have been able to not only retain our employees but also help provide our employees with the incentive to provide the best service in the industry. Through this process we have been able to become one of the top-rated pool companies in the county in our first two years of being open and winning the top Melbourne Pool Service award 3 years in a row.
